The Rock Mountain Region Mule Deer High‑Priority Habitat (HPH) Mitigation Site encompasses approximately 40.2 acres of riparian and floodplain habitat along the South Platte and Big Thompson Rivers in Weld County, Colorado. Completed in 2024, the mitigation site was established to provide compensatory habitat for impacts within Colorado Parks & Wildlife, designated Mule Deer Severe Winter Range and Winter Concentration Areas.
